The IKB Writer is responsible for ongoing governance of a knowledge base, including its overall health and best practices. He/She should encourage correct and widespread usage of the IKB, create guidelines for what information is captured and by whom, and how to keep it from growing stale.
Task

• Review and research technical materials and other support materials and assets
• Develops course support materials and documentation using various authoring tools
• Creates documentation on products, processes, and other relevant support content
• Creates simplified content based on complex, technical sources and materials
• Create content that is, natural, applicable in real-world scenarios, and anchored on the lifecycle of target audience and product
Project Management
• Plans and monitors projects and other updates
• Manages project resources and requirements
• Monitor project activities against project goals
Interaction and Collaboration
• Collaborates and adjusts to varied personality types
• Presents ideas and facilitate group discussions
• Establishes amicable relationships with individuals and groups
• Coordinates with stakeholders on projects and other assigned tasks
Reporting and Allocation
• Create, generate and send reports
• Manages resources and resource allocation
• Update relevant trackers and other resources
