Financial Data Analyst (Oracle Cloud Conversion) (Platform Analyst)

We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Data Analyst to play a critical role in our Oracle system transformation initiatives. This isn't a traditional accounting role; it is a technical-functional hybrid focused on the integrity, validation, and reconciliation of converted financial data. This role will be assisting Business Users in Validation/Reconciliation phase of the Data Migration, to ensure that the financial data migrated from our legacy systems lands accurately in Oracle, matching both financial logic and business reality.

Key Responsibilities

·       Support financial data validation and reconciliation during Oracle data migration cycles

·       Partner with business users to validate Billing, Revenue, and AR data in Oracle

·       Ensure migrated data accurately reflects contract terms, subscription structures, and financial logic

·       Investigate and resolve data discrepancies between legacy systems and Oracle

·       Perform backend data analysis using SQL and advanced Excel tools

·       Translate technical findings into clear insights for Finance stakeholders

·       Collaborate with developers to resolve data transformation or calculation issues

Experience Requirements

Oracle Expertise

·       Direct experience with Oracle Cloud ERP (specifically Modules: Billing, Revenue Management/RMCS, and Subscriptions).

·       Deep understanding of Oracle’s calculation logic for Total Calculated Value (TCV) and Charge Schedules.

Financial & Domain Knowledge

·       Strong foundation in Billing, Revenue Recognition and Accounts Receivable.

·       Ability to interpret complex subscription contracts and translate them into financial data points.

Technical Proficiency

·       Advanced Excel / Power Query / Pivot Tables and Lookups is a must.

·       Ability to query data (SQL) to perform backend validations without relying solely on the UI.

·       Comfortable working with large datasets and identifying patterns in data anomalies.

Soft Skills

·       The "Investigative" Mindset: You enjoy finding the "needle in the haystack" and won't stop until the numbers tie out.

·       Communication: Ability to explain technical data issues to finance stakeholders and business requirements to developers

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a previous ERP Implementation or Data Migration project

• Background in SaaS or Subscription-based business models
