We are currently looking for Network Engineer T2.

Responsibilities:

• Interface with carrier circuit delivery teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Manage multiple circuit activations, ensuring timely and accurate service delivery.
• Validate circuit assignments and port configurations.
• Troubleshoot Layer 1 issues in collaboration with carriers and operations teams.
• Support the decommissioning of legacy circuits.
• Conduct service verification to ensure correct delivery and functionality.
• Generate completion reports and maintain accurate service documentation.
• Perform service remediation tasks and update relevant documentation.
• Participate in carrier and internal meetings.
• Provide training and support for new team members.
• Prepare and deploy Backbone Link Physical Access (BLPA).
• Manage CSP Tether and Port orders, including Virtual Circuit (VC) testing.
• Handle data audit requests and reporting.
• Ensure all tools and systems are accurately updated.
• Process and track capacity orders.

Specific Duties:

• Review and process service orders.
• Maintain tracking systems and checklists for completed circuits.
• Manage vendor/carrier information.
• Utilize network monitoring and management tools.
• Update and maintain training materials.
• Respond to email inquiries in a timely manner.
• Ensure project management boards reflect real-time progress.
• Track and document new and decommissioned circuits.
• Validate and correct network configurations and descriptions.
• Conduct and document change requests.
• Ensure network tools and databases contain accurate and complete information.
• Monitor and resolve circuit registration discrepancies.
• Act as a subject matter expert for specific team processes.
• Conduct quality assurance and peer reviews.
• Process and manage IP requests.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Layer 1 troubleshooting.
• At least 1 year of experience in Layer 2/3 troubleshooting.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in executing change requests.

Skills & Competencies:

• Advanced knowledge of BGP fundamentals.
• Proficiency in data auditing and reporting.
• Familiarity with network products and systems.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Experience in updating and maintaining process documentation.
