Overview

The Distribution Services Coordinator will be responsible for loading property information, room information, rate information, policies, images, and any other hotel-related information, as assigned, in all databases (including the Property Management System (PMS), the Central Reservations System (CRS), a Content Distribution System and several Extranet Sites.  This position is also responsible for processing commission inquiries from travel agencies.

  • Complete data entry in onboarding files and/or any necessary systems with accuracy and thoroughness
  • Enter property and brand-related information across multiple channels
  • Ensure clarity and integrity of all data entered, including proper spelling/grammar, while adhering to department guidelines
  • Identify potential rate parity issues across multiple websites by conducting regular rate shops and documenting results
  • Maintain detailed logs of all assigned projects
  • Research commission inquiries and respond to travel agencies in a timely manner
  • Deliver exceptional customer service with a professional demeanor to travel agents and any other external or internal parties
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), proficient knowledge of Outlook (organizing emails across multiple boxes, calendar management) and experience using the Internet to research and collect information required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
  • Must have acute attention to detail, ability to learn quickly, have excellent organization and time-management skills 
  • Must be able to work under pressure, keep current on a multitude of programs/policies and multi-task with the flexibility to switch focuses as necessary to meet urgent deadlines
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work independently 
  • Experience in hospitality or travel industry preferred
