Overview

Position Overview:

The Workday HRIS Analyst manages and optimizes the Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) system, performing tasks such as configuring the system, maintaining the benefits module, troubleshooting issues, developing reports, supporting integrations and collaborating with stakeholders like HR and IT teams to gather requirements and ensure data integrity.  While the Workday HRIS Analyst may support the entire HCM system, this role will have an emphasis in supporting the Benefits module within the system.

Responsibilities

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Gather business requirements for the Workday Benefits module
  • Collaborate with HR, IT and other teams to identify benefit solutions and provide subject matter expertise
  • Configure and manage the Workday Benefits module, manage system updates and provide technical support
  • Develop and execute test plans, identify system enhancement opportunities and recommend optimizations
  • Monitor Workday releases and communicate impacts to relevant stakeholders
  • Set up and manage business rules and workflows to streamline operations
  • Enter and manage employee data in the Workday HCM system to include benefit enrollment within the benefits module
  • Proficient in creating and updating Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) uploads
  • Troubleshoot issues with reports and dashboards, and resolve them while ensuring security and data privacy
  • Perform data entry with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Assist with HR data analysis and ensure data integrity
  • Use the Workday Community site to troubleshoot and identify ways to better utilize the system
  • Prepare and deliver Workday reports to stakeholders across the company

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years of Workday HCM experience with an emphasis in the Benefits module
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel expertise
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Functional working knowledge of HR, Benefits and Payroll processes
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Possesses a strong work ethic for working with and maintaining confidential information
  • Ability to prioritize work and deliver in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience performing data loads and audits of complicated data
  • Troubleshoot HRIS issues and errors
