Overview

The IT Site Support Technician is responsible of the installation and configuration of computer hardware, software, internal systems, networks, database, printers and other tangible or intangible IT assets. He is also in-charge of the monitoring and maintenance of the computer systems, company networks, and other IT equipment. He needs to responds to technical service issues and IT requests on a timely manner and to provide technical assistance across the company to support daily operations.

  • Highly proactive; addresses site level issues with appropriate sense of urgency
  • Ability to exhibit professionalism
  • Demonstrated ability to work with a team with a positive attitude and tenacity to complete the mission assigned
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and professionally with clients at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, meeting multiple deadlines in a high pressure environment.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule (graveyard/shifting schedule)

Qualifications

  • At least 6 months working experience at IBEX Global
  • Preferably with a degree in Information Technology/Systems, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering courses
  • Experience in supporting desktops, laptops, and IT infrastructure is an advantage
  • Advance knowledge in Operating Systems configuration, Active Directory, GPOs, software deployment, and VOIP technologies
