The Tax Accountant will be responsible for preparing and reviewing federal and state
tax returns, supporting clients with tax planning, and ensuring compliance with U.S. tax
regulations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and experienced in
U.S. taxation
● Prepare and review U.S. federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships,
S-corporations, C-corporations, and LLCs
● Perform tax research on complex issues and provide accurate, well-documented findings
● Assist with tax planning, projections, and year-round advisory
● Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and IRS
regulations
● Communicate effectively with U.S. clients and internal teams
● Work with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Lacerte, UltraTax, Drake, or similar
platforms
● Manage deadlines and handle multiple engagements simultaneously
● Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to workflow eff
Required Qualifications
● 5–7 years of professional experience in U.S. taxation (required)
● Strong understanding of U.S. federal and state tax laws
● Experience preparing complex individual and business tax returns
● Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/EA is a plus but not
required)
● Proficiency with tax and accounting software
● Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
● Ability to work U.S. business hours or partially overlapping hours
Preferred Skills
● Experience working with U.S. CPA firms or outsourcing firms
● Knowledge of U.S. payroll, sales tax, or bookkeeping is a plus
● Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
● Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines
